What is your Roleplay name?: Jack Black Age: 17 DOB: 01/02/2001 Tell us about yourself: This may come as no surprise but my real name is actually Jack. I live in London and because of this most people would like to say that I live in a "Council House" on an estate however this is very true but I do not live in one of those tall apartment blocks like a deprived citizen. Apart from all of this I enjoy helping anyone who needs it whether that be within the Police Department or the Support Team. I'm already trusted by many people because of my status as an Ex-Moderator and current Deputy Chief of TSF. Timezone: GMT Why do you wish to be in the support team? (200 Words Minimum): Let's start this from when I got removed from the Staff Team at Moderator Rank for seemingly no reason and so I wish to be in the Support Team to continue my journey through the Staff Team again and would like to climb the ranks, hopefully without being removed. I don't mind helping people for some of the basic things such as Tech Support or simple tag assigning, no matter what the person requires I will attempt to help them if possible. Although I go to College and am currently the Deputy Chief I still have a lot of spare time that I will be able to dedicate towards helping players of PsiSyn. I've seen how the Staff Team can come under pressure with the amount of people requiring basic assistance and there not being enough Support Members to actually help therefore making the higher ranks having to deal with the basic assistance and I again would like to help with this. I get a small but powerful satisfactory feeling when I help people and I've even received a player or two putting in a compliment on the website for me which I appreciate and again would like to have this feeling come around again. What makes you stand out over other applicants? (150 Words Minimum): I can't really talk about the other applicants and I don't really want to repeat myself from other parts of my Application however I believe I have the skills and experience to join the Support Team as I've previously been a Moderator for the community and therefore know the ins and outs of the Support / Staff Team already and this gives me an advantage over others because this will make me be able to quickly and effectively assist players. Again other applicants have just as much as a chance of getting into the Support Team however I do believe that I will be most effective for the Support Team, not to mention the fact that if anybody in the Team needed assistance for any reason I will be able to use my experience and will be able to assist them which is a very good bonus in my opinion. However in the end everyone has the same chance as me and I wish everyone else good luck. In your mind, what would be the role of support?: People who hold the role of Support as first liners for those who need assistance, usually those who need Technical Support or Teamspeak Tags. Support Members are those who should be contacted first by anyone who needs support and should be able to respond to those in need quickly and effectively. What skills can you bring to the support team?: I have a wide range of skills that I believe would make me fit to join the Support Team, some of these skills are:Able to handle responsibilityAble to remain calm in most casesCommunication skillsMaturityRespectfulAble to make clear and quick decisions during most cases What do you want to achieve while in the support team?: When I first joined I wanted to reach as high as I possibly could and again this will be my aspiration, not for the power but for the extra abilities to assist others such as whitelisting or the ability to ban those who fail to follow our community rules. Have you ever been banned/given warning points? If so, what for?: Yes, 1 day & 10 Points for "Failure to Value life" and 1 day & 10 Points for "Fail roleplay" and possibly 5 points for "Fail roleplay"? Can't really remember however on 2 occasions I appealed and got both the bans and points removed as a decent amount of Staff Members disagreed with the punishment / case. Do you have any past experience within a support or staff role?: Yes I have experience at being a Support / Staff Member, mostly on a server that Repentz used to be on, a server called "Orionlife". I was held at the position of Help Desk for around 1-2 weeks, then promoted to Senior Help Desk and held that position for around the same time, lastly I got promoted to Trial Staff and held that rank for around 1 month. At these positions I was limited to only Admin Panel for whitelisting, compensation etc etc. I also climbed through the ranks of this community up until Moderator when I got removed. I have extensive experience on here due to me being underage and was forced to stay at the low ranks for a considerable amount of time. 1 Week as Support - 2 Weeks as Senior Support - 10 days as Trial Staff - 2 Days as Moderator. Do you agree you will give up game time to help others: Sure why not.

What is your Roleplay name?: Jack Black Age: 16 DOB: 01/02/2001 Tell us about yourself: This may come as no surprise but my real name is actually Jack. I live in London and because of this most people would like to say that I live in a "Council House" on an estate however this is very true but I do not live in one of those tall apartment blocks like a deprived citizen. Apart from all of this I enjoy helping anyone who needs it whether that be within the Police Department or the Support Team. I'm already trusted by many people on this server because of my status in the PD. Timezone: GMT Why do you wish to be in the support team?: I wish to become a support member because I want to be more involved with the community, not only from the Police Department side but also on the Staff Side. A good amount of players, PD Members and staff members know me and I wish to get more involved with assisting players and other staff members. I believe I have some of the skills that will help me become a good Support Member and I am willing to work hard to assist others and to also make myself a better person. What makes you stand out over other applicants?: I can't really talk about the other applicants and I don't really want to repeat myself from other parts of my Application however I believe I have the skills that will allow me to become a great Support Member and to ask the Staff Team to give me a chance. I would like to wish everyone else good luck on their applications. In your mind, what would be the role of support?: People who hold the role of Support as first liners for those who need assistance, usually those who need Technical Support or Teamspeak / Website Tags (Possibly). Support Members are those who should be contacted first by anyone who needs Support and should be able to respond to those in need quickly and effectively. If a support member is unable to assist someone for any reason they should quickly contact the next highest available ranking member within the Support / Staff Team. What skills can you bring to the support team?: I have a wide range of skills that I believe would make me fit to join the Support Team, some of these skills are:Able to handle responsibilityAble to remain calm in most casesCommunication skillsMaturityRespectfulAble to make clear and quick decisions during most cases What do you want to achieve while in the support team?: Obviously the main reason is that I wish to progress through the ranks on the Staff Team and have the ability to assist people on a greater level. I also want to improve my knowledge of being a Staff Member on an Arma 3 server as I've only managed to get on to the lower ranks and I want to have the chance of becoming something bigger. Have you ever been banned/given warning points? If so, what for?: Yes, 1 day & 10 Points for "Failure to Value life" and 1 day & 10 Points for "Fail roleplay" and possibly 5 points for "Fail roleplay"? *Gonna quickly preface this by saying sorry I know this should be in the general talk area under Lakeside but I didn't have permissions to post there so feel free to move this if you want.* Alright straight to the title, I want to discuss, hear and understand the choice of weaponry on the Lakeside server. To clarify, this is not a flame post at all, I want to start a discussion and get the opinions of the playerbase, staff and development team before the guns are in the shop configs and Lakeside is live. I'm gonna start from the beginning of Psisyn and work from there to better portray the changes over time, so here goes, Psisyn started with Malden which was majority a .556 server with a little deviation in that SWAT had 6.8 and eventually Rebels had 7.62's with advanced rebel. A lot of people enjoyed this formula for the most part as did I. I think these would be good for Lakeside. Nozacki, the guns were all over the place, ranging from 9mm pistols for a lot of cops and civilians to CTU having a SKS & MP510 for some reason, these weapons would not suit Lakeside imo as they were hella scuffed in some aspects, not much balance. Takistan, the guns on Taki well.. they were Takistan level guns, TSF low ranks had 556, some 7.62 and high command had better 7.62 and a honey badger. Rebels had everything under the sun, command level 7.62, 6.8, M107, rheinmetal MG's and much more cancerous guns. These should not, I repeat SHOULD NOT be on Lakeside. They're hella aids. Makes using a pistols pointless. Now we're almost where we're now, Crystal Shores. At the beginning the word of mouth was it would be pistols and SMG's just like old Critical, this kept changing throughout it's cycle. At one point the promise was 556. as the highest caliber and on release we had 80$ gunstore pistols and rebel had honeybadgers and other random shit. It made no sense imo, it was advertised as a roleplay server but the gunlist looked like they brought in Cobra and this was ALRP. I'd hope the weapons on Lakeside aren't like this. So that was a quick history more or less on how the weapons were on Psisyn since the Malden days(When I joined, November 2017). Which brings us to the point of this post, what gun caliber will be the highest on Lakeside and what do you think they should be? Finally I'm gonna end this post again clarifying that I appreciate all the hard work of Travis, George, Mikey, Tagknife, John Billy, Josh Farrel and all the other developers (Sorry if I forgot anyone <3). This is not to flame any of you or the community as a whole, I just want to start a discussion and get peoples opinions because the Crystal Shores gun configs confused the absolute frick out of me and I want this new Lakeside to be great

I would love to see a system where if you had a house you would be able to place down a drug making table or whatever Weed grows Just a table with some potted weed plants and some lights maybe. you would need to grow it for 30 min or something like that after you would be done with that you would need to dry it and then package it by making it into bricks or baggies if you package it into baggies you go around the map to a few drug dealers and distribute it your self. if you package it into bricks you would go to a distributor and he would do the distributing for you for x% amount, therefore, getting less money but doing less work in the end. Meth Labs So my idea for this one might take a bit to make but I think its worth it cause the meth making system on most servers is either go to place pick up meth process meth and sell or get meth table make meth and sell my idea is that there will be different tiers of meth labs and each one has a different level of purity and amount but the idea is this you go get/make a meth lab once your done with that you go cook it but you will need chemicals and pseudoephedrine aswell as a gas mask where you might get the chemicals would be at a hardware store or something along those lines where you get the pseudoephedrine you could get it form a pharmacy either by buying it or robbing the pharmacy and the gas mask where ever the fuck you want after you get all of those things you can finnaly cook to cook you could have it something like the nopixel way by saying ahh your meth is burning or its too hot or cold or whatever then you add cool heat or do something too it and you might be thinking why would we need the gas mask well you could make it when your cooking meth an invisable tear gas cannister is there and thats why you need the gas mask anyways after your done cooking its the same as with the weed either baggies or brick to a distributor or do it your self The three tiers of meth labs. The home cook just a table with some chemistry bottles on it (lvl 1 base amount base purity), the intermediate cook a bigger table with more bottles and better equipment (lvl 2 medium amount boost small purity boost), The pro lab again just a table with professional looking equipment more chemistry bottles and whatnot (lvl 3 large amount boost breaking bad levels of purity) Cocaine/Heroin cutting So this is more trafficking than work but what you would do is go to a smuggler there you would get pure cocaine or heroin then take it to your house then cut it then press it into a brick or package it into baggies go to a distributor or the drug dealers and that's it Prices I would like to see more realistic prices for drugs and if you have it as an item please say like 1kg of this or 500g something like that if that can be done Thanks if you read the whole thing I think this would benefit the server as it would be unique to this server and I think a lot of people would like it I would love it personly

Does not remove the issue of, if said person(s) is not online to change it is thus untouched and remains at the same level. On Malden, it was nearly always RED and only changed when someone either went to support or pestered a higher ranking officer. +1 boss - all it needs is some love and attention once and a while. It's not hard to keep on top of... Threat levels should allow for deviations in the law and police standard operating procedures. Why? In case of major events, terror instances (gang wars) etc the laws should allow for a wider scope and increase the role/power of the police force. A real-life example would be the introduction of Operation Temperer where British troops along with the Special Air Service were to be placed alongside Met officers - it also increases the stop & search powers of the police under the (Terrorism Act 2000), (Anti-Terrorism, Crime and Security Act 2001), (Counter-Terrorism Act 2008). The "Threat Level" should be seen similar to the United Kingdoms official national threat level - but in this case, changed due to a wider range of reasons and changeable by more than one (hopefully the highest on at the time?) I think you mean there should be set criteria as to when the threat level should be changed to the respective colour both up and down. The judgment of '1 guy' would not be from just '1 guy' as, as per would take several people to raise the issue before it reaches the necessary rank to increase the level. Plus the judgment of that one person would hopefully be of sufficient authority and intelligence to do so due to his rank. Back on Malden the Threat Level codes for the department of corrections were followed correctly and it was a rather tight ship, I, however, cannot speak on behalf of other officers but I know for a fact that Internal affairs played a great part in maintaining order and standards across the force. My own suggestion: Maintain the current system - slight reform to the list of who can change it and the criteria for changing it.

Hello there. I'd like to make a suggestion regarding support permissions on the forum. HA Aaron suggested me to do this. Currently, support members are unable to see someone's points, bans, etc., which can be very frustrating, especially when reviewing their civilian applications. As it is right now, we have no way of checking someone's history (Unless they confess), and if someone's got 30+ points, they could be accepted only to be denied at their interview. If we get permissions to check someone's history, we can deny them immediately, so that we don't waste the staff's precious time. Sincerely, Gill Corbyn

Go back to old whitelisting panel, make faction whitelisting in game. Have command for each faction have the ability to whitelist on server release. Make the drug systems a lot simpler. Going to the field, windows key to pick up the drugs, go to the processor etc. Have maybe 2 drug dealers, one close to the cities, one far. Make the cut of the city one a lot more profitable than the far drug dealer. Make higher caliber rifles craftable like Malden. Having shitter weapons won’t enforce better roleplay, stricter rules will and that will be dealt with. Make rebel license purchasable instead of xp, so that people have to work for it. Have a general xp system for jobs. EG The more weed runs you do, the higher your profession in that job. The better the profession the faster your processing speed is. Simple perk system. Repair speed, increased paychecks, impound speed etc. Not all of these need to be done for release. Mainly future update ideas.

What name do you use on TeamSpeak, Website & In-game?: Vincent Farrow Age at time of applying: 20 Date of Birth (DD/MM/YYYY): 21/08/1997 Tell us something about yourself: I love Chinese food :3 Timezone (EU/NA/AU): EU Do you have any past experience in a support position, in this community or another? (If so, explain): I've been a support member on Arma 2 Communities but have avoided it since getting police ranks in Arma 3. Why do you wish to be part of our support team? (200 Word Minimum): While in the Arma 3 Life community, I've been in hundreds of support cases both as accused and reporting, along with assisting people with common Arma, TFR and Arma 3 Sync technical issues. I've been on both ends of a support case as a support member on an Arma 2 RP server and know how to act and deal with people while a support member. I've always tried to be a friendly person to newer people in communities and help them out with questions and answer any queries they may have. I would like to join support so that I can better help members of the community and support the community when not ingame as a police officer. I also hope that becoming a support member will help me improve my standing in the community as well as get to know people who are new and help them grow. As a member of PD command I am also in a better position to answer and explain questions from people relating to rules or SOPs to do with police and help people who have had a bad interaction ingame solve it by forwarding them onto IA instead of wasting Staff time with cases that are purely police based (such as an officer arresting someone for no reason) What makes your application different from others?: I have vast experience as a police and civilian in Arma 3 Life and I have technical knowledge that some people may not have. In your opinion, what is the role of the support team?: The role of the support team is to assist new members of the community and answer and assist people with their questions or queries. What skills can you bring to the support team?: Basic technical support and police knowledge. What do you aim to achieve as a member of the support team?: Help members of the community and support the community when not ingame as a police officer. Have you ever received warning points or being banned from this community (If so, what for): Yes, have had 10 Warning points which are currently active for RDM (initiated on whisper) Do you understand that even if your application is accepted, you are not guaranteed a position on our team?: Yep Do you agree that if you are successful in the interview, that on most days you will have limited access to the game as you are giving up your time voluntarily to help others requiring assistance?: Yes
